Pierman Group

The main activity of the PIERMAN group is the design and manufacture of industrial parts made of composite materials (glass-polyester and carbon-epoxy).

This group of 3 SMEs, employing just under 100 employees, is organized around DESCHAMPS Père et Fils, bought by the family group in 2004, which was originally a nautical manufacturer. The company knew how to use its mastery of composite materials to diversify in the manufacture of automatic level crossing barriers for SNCF, the beginnings of an innovative spirit that will no longer be denied.

Holder of numerous patents, PIERMAN is now the main French manufacturer of passive railway signalling equipment (warning lights, frames-screens, barriers for PN, support plates, etc.). It also designs and manufactures a number of other industrial composite products for many other sectors.

Their latest innovation? The PIERMAN group offers its customers the possibility of digitizing its composite products, while respecting its values of sustainability, industrial price and criteria derived from eco-design.

The Rail Open Lab is an excellent vehicle for showing mastery of these recent topics, on concrete use cases.
