The Rail Open Lab rewarded by the Transport Innovation Agency (AIT)
Wednesday, February 8, 2023, on the occasion of the Transport Innovation Agency (AIT) forum held at the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie, in La Villette (Paris 19), the “Rail Open Lab” association received the honors of the jury of the 2nd edition of the Propulse program, in the “Data Sharing” category.
The winner was praised for the quality and the great wealth of solutions deployed at the service of the French rail sector.
Thanks to this award, the Rail Open Lab, whose four partners and founding members are the Federation of Railway Industries (FIF), SERCE, RATP and SNCF Réseau, will thus be able to benefit from support from the Transport Innovation Agency as early as February 2023, for a period of nine months.
This recognition legitimizes the long-term nature of the Rail Open Lab's mission and, the resulting support will allow it to continue its development and the realization of its experiments.
In concrete terms, the AIT will in particular support the Rail Open Lab with the support of a dedicated team to enable it to:
To increase its technical and technological expertise,
To develop the reputation of the association among the various players in the sector and territories,
To improve the functioning of the association (legal support, intellectual property,...).
