Federation of Railway Industries (FIF)

The Federation of Railway Industries (FIF) brings together 83 direct members and more than 600 indirect members through clusters.

The FIF brings together all French railway manufacturers through groups of its various businesses: rolling stock manufacturers, railway equipment manufacturers, track and signalling manufacturers, digital technologies group and group for maintenance, retrofit and modernization. Recognized both by the public authorities and by all users, actors and decision-makers of the rail system, the FIF is representative of companies in the railway industry in France. Its main missions contribute to establishing a framework and favorable conditions for the creation of value within the French railway industry. FIF therefore works actively to support the development and growth of the rail industry in the national and international context, by highlighting its strategic challenges and by promoting effective collaboration between the various stakeholders and actors in the entire rail sector.
